穿过了小巷后的古街

chuānguòle xiǎoxiàng hòu de gǔjiē

Having crossed the old street behind the alley

青墙旁你遥望夕阳斜

qīng qiáng páng nǐ yáowàng xīyáng xié

Standing next to the azure wall, you gaze at the slant of the setting sun

只因是不经意的一瞥

zhǐ yīn shì bùjīngyì de yīpiē

Only because it was a careless glance

扰乱我思绪不舍昼夜

rǎoluàn wǒ sīxù bù shě zhòuyè

It disturbs my thoughts, I won't ever give up

想化作庄周变成蝴蝶

xiǎng huà zuò zhuāngzhōu biànchéng húdié

I want to be like Zhuangzi, who became a butterfly

架青云穿过繁枝茂叶

jià qīngyún chuānguò fán zhī mào yè

Support the blue clouds that pass through the many twigs and rich leaves

纵然是群山层层叠叠

zòngrán shì qún shān céngcéng diédié

Even at the mountains that seem to sit on top of each other,

也无心在此流连停歇

yě wúxīn zài cǐ liúlián tíngxiē

I still don't want to stop here

将相思寄明月

jiàng xiàng sī jì míngyuè

I'll send my yearning to the glowing moon

期盼你能察觉

qīpàn nǐ néng chájué

I hope you will notice

将你写作诗阙

jiāng nǐ xiězuò shī quē

I'll write you a poem

送千里无邪

sòng qiānlǐ wúxié

Sending my innocence far away

牵引我思绪层出不迭

Pulling my thoughts that don't seem to stop

若不识梁祝变成蝴蝶

ruò bù shí liángzhù biàn chéng húdié

As if I don't know of Liangzhu, the couple who turned into butterflies

驾紫烟穿过天上宫阙

jià zǐ yān chuānguò tiānshàng gōngqué

Driving the purple smoke passing the palace in the sky

绝不知人间多愁离别

jué bùzhī rénjiān duō chóu líbié

I surely don't know the departure of mankind's many sorrows

吹落叶散作秋风清切

chuī luòyè sàn zuò qiūfēng qīng qiè

Blowing the falling leaves and cutting the autumn winds clean

将相思寄明月

心缱倦意难决
